The DCS team had the incredible opportunity to participate in the JA Inspire event in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania April 1-2, 2025. Hosted by Junior Achievement, this interactive career exploration event connects local students with industry professionals, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.

As a company rooted in Hazleton, PA, we take great pride in showcasing the exciting, innovative work we do in infrastructure maintenance—and what better way to do that than by giving students a hands-on look at the tools and technologies we use every day.

At our booth, students had the chance to interact with some of our most cutting-edge equipment, including a drone and virtual reality (VR) system. These tools are part of our ongoing training efforts and help our crews prepare for real-life scenarios in the field. Watching the students light up as they explored the possibilities of these technologies was both rewarding and inspiring.

Events like JA Inspire are a powerful way to educate young people about career paths they may not have considered—especially in industries like infrastructure, transportation safety, and maintenance services. Many students are unaware of the vast opportunities available in these fields, and we’re proud to help change that.

We want to thank Junior Achievement for hosting such a meaningful and well-organized event. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do—and how important it is to invest in the next generation of professionals.

At DCS, we believe in building a stronger future—one connection at a time.
